KnackPrep ("we", "us") helps you practice interview questions and get AI-generated feedback. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using KnackPrep you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, used to sign in.
  • Practice content: the answers you write, and the scores and feedback generated for them.
  • Technical data: a login session cookie that keeps you signed in.

How we use your information

  • To operate your account and keep you signed in.
  • To generate feedback on your answers and save your practice history.
  • To send you sign-in (magic link) emails.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

AI processing of your answers

To generate feedback, the answers you submit are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the Claude API), which processes them to return a score and suggestions. Anthropic does not use API content to train its models by default.

The Resume Improver tool sends your resume and the job description to Anthropic to generate suggestions. These are processed to produce your analysis and are not stored.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run KnackPrep:

  • Supabase — account authentication and database storage.
  • Anthropic — AI processing of your answers to produce feedback.
  • Resend — sending sign-in emails.
  • Vercel — website hosting.

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States.

Data retention & your choices

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, and we will delete your account and associated practice history.

Children

KnackPrep is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
